Standing still in the run of life
to figure if the heart is still alive
finding it beating, thrust with a knife
wondering how it managed to strive.
Then a little push by a soul began
created a stir in the mind again
a light surrounded, pure and plain
confused by the hue, trying to refrain.
A ray of hope slowly enters
sent by angels or guardian mentors.
Slowly darkness began to erode away
and laughter came raining down
it seemed like love was on this way
all smiles, not a single frown.
